Obituary of Connelly Bruner-Todt

Connelly Bruner-Todt "Connie", 58, of Rexford, died peacefully with her family at her side at Ellis Medicine on December 15, 2021. Born in Richmond, VA on January 14, 1963, she is the loving daughter of Elizabeth V. (McKenna) Bruner of Virginia Beach, VA and the late Leslie Bruner. She leaves her cherished husband, Michael L. Todt; her daughters, Stephanie (David) Colombo, Kathleen (Jake) Ronesi, her brother Rick (Laurie) Bruner, sisters, Karen (Lou) Penalva and Mary Ellen Scheible; cherished granddaughters Charlotte Ronesi and Harper Kate Colombo; several nieces, nephews and cousins survive also. Connie was predeceased by her baby sister Barbara Bruner.

Connie graduated from North Warren High School and received her bachelor's degree from Russell Sage College. She met her husband while both working as ride attendants at GasLight Village in Lake George. The couple married on May 25, 1985 in Warrensburg, NY.

They raised two beautiful daughters and frequently took trips to DisneyWorld in Florida which ended up a favorite destination of Connie.  Connie was Director of Therapeutic Recreation at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital in Schenectady for over 27 years. Connie was a member of historic St. George's Episcopal Church in the stockade.  She enjoyed crafting, loved to shop fervently, and obtained collectibles for her husband to fix!  She took pride in decorating her home for all to enjoy but first and foremost, spoiling her grandchildren with love and attention.

Calling hours will be from 5-7PM on Monday, December 27th at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. then followed at 7 PM with a Celebration of Life service.
