Obituary of Florence Meskutovecz

Florence Meskutovecz, 95, formerly of Shirley Dr, Schenectady, died Sunday September 1, 2013 at the Baptist Health, Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Scotia. Florence was born in Albany, NY, the daughter of the late Boleslaw and Eva Morawski. She attended St. Casimir's School and later worked for Wilkie's Laundry, and during the war, for the Fuller Brush Co.. In 1948 she married Edmund F. Meskutovecz. Florence was a homemaker and mother who enjoyed gardening and yard work. She was also a communicant of St. Adalbert's church in Schenectady. In addition to her husband Edmund, Florence was predeceased by her siblings: Edward and Vincent Morawski and Stella Cappella. Survivors include her son, Edmund Meskutovecz and his wife Martha of Glenville, and daughter, Mary Ann Meskutovecz and her husband Dale May of Princetown. Her brother Francis (Jeanne) of Ohio also survives. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial, from St. Adalbert's Church, 550 Lansing St. Schenectady, will be held at 9 am on Thursday September 5, 2013.
