Dear Uncle Tom, cousins Chris and Anne and Family. My hearfelt condolences to all. Aunt Ruth was my God mother who was always very kind and motherly to me and I am very sad that she has passed but at the same time I rejoice that she is now with the Heavenly Father and will be in peace forever more shining her light down on us. I am very proud to be her nephew and I will dearly miss her. Aunt Ruth was lovely woman and she was an inspiration to me. She was strong, yet gentle, supportive, and had a lot of character that commanded respect.
On a lighter note, when I turned 14 years old, I foundly Aunt Ruth proclaiming to me and the universe and all its inhabitatants that I was no longer to be called "Vinnie" and was to be known as and called "Vince". In hindsight this was a "knighting", a milestone event, my initiation into into adulthood. God bless you Aunt Ruth, you will be missed. Much love, Vince Glasser
