Paul J. Moran, 87, passed away on January 10, 2022. Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Patrick and Catherine (Little) Moran. Paul was a 1952 graduate of Annunciation High School in Buffalo and went on to continue his education at Buffalo Community College and Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs. He proudly defended his country in the United States Army from 1957 – 1963. Paul married his beloved late wife Janet (Herrington) Moran on July 3, 1965. He was a dedicated employee of General Electric Co. for 58 years retiring in 1992 as technical management for steam turbines. Paul always loved to learn. He had five patents on battery research and was an avid reader of theoretical physics, quantum mechanics and military history. Paul was an avid outdoorsman. He was an ADK Forty-Sixer. Paul also enjoyed Irish music and watching the Buffalo Bills. In addition to the ADK, Paul was a member of NRA and the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Above all, Paul enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his family.

He is survived by his sons Michael and John Moran, along with his sister Claire Helmbrecht and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Janet who passed March 20, 2021, he was predeceased by his brother Thomas Moran and sisters Gertrude White and Alice VanPatten.

 Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 15,2022 at 10am at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Road Glenville. Entombment will follow at St Anthony’s Cemetery, Glenville.
