Obituary of Elsie Pauline Dotter

Elsie Pauline Dotter, 97, passed peacefully surrounded by family on January 13, 2022. Born on September 29, 1924 in Lebanon, PA to her late parents Charles H. and Mary Ella (Eck) Stohler. A 1942 graduate of Lebanon High School, she continued her education at Lebanon Business College. She then was employed at Lebanon Valley College. Elsie was married to William "Bill" Dotter for 63 years before his passing in 2009.

They relocated several times with GE, eventually settling in Glenville, New York. Elsie enjoyed part-time work for a number of years at United Way of Schenectady County. She was also a long-time member of the First Reformed Church of Schenectady.

She is predeceased by her 7 siblings.

To continue Elsie’s memory are her children, Diane (Maurice) Robbins of Burnt Hills, NY and William H. Dotter, Jr. (Toni) of Penhook, VA; grandchildren, Jennifer Robbins Magruder of Salem, VA, Amy Robbins of Cohoes, NY, Curt Robbins of Reno, NV, and Andrew Dotter of Cary, NC; and cherished great-grandchildren, Brendan, Connor, and Rebecca Magruder, Steggy and Juniper Robbins, and Aiden Dotter.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 28th at 1:30 PM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Indiantown Gap Rd., Annville, PA.
