Obituary of David W. Nelson

Dateline: Guilderland

David W. Nelson, 67, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2022 at the Grand at Guilderland with his daughter at his side. Born in Schenectady he was the son of the late Emerson and Catherine (Cooper) Nelson. David was predeceased by his wife Autumn Slover-Nelson. He enjoyed playing bingo, going to Broadway Lunch and Bellview Café. Above all he cherished the time spent with his family.

David is survived by his children David Nelson Jr. and Shannon Berhaupt (Dean). He is also survived by his grandchildren Chelsea and Aubrey along with 5 siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Calling hours will be held June 24, 2022 from 12-2pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville.

The family would like to thank the Grand at Guilderland for the wonderful care David received while there.
