Obituary of George Everett Lundstrom
George Everett Lundstrom of Scotia, NY, age 68, passed away surrounded by his loving family on February 1, 2022.
Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late George W. and Beatrice (Tibbitts) Lundstrom. He was a 1971 graduate of Scotia Glenville High School.
George served in the Army National Guard prior to meeting his wife, the former Kristine Koch of Glenville, NY. George worked for G.E. Co. in the Steam Turbine Department for 40 years and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He enjoyed boating, deep sea fishing, riding his Harley, good food, and true rock and roll.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kristine, his cherished son, Laif Everett Lundstrom, his beloved sisters Linda (Clifford) Stone, Diana (Roger) Lawton, and his Aunt Joan Settle, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends will be received Saturday, February 12th at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd, from 1pm to 2pm. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2pm in the funeral home.
