Obituary of Arthur M. Pandori

Arthur M. Pandori, 91, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2022 at Schuyler Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Schenectady he was the son of the late Roberto and Michelina (Colozza) Pandori. Arthur was a lifelong area resident and was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. He started his career working for Mastroianni Brothers Bakery as a baker and went on to work with his brother Henry at Henry’s Supermarket in Schenectady. Following the closure of the supermarket he worked for Visiting Nurses as a Home Health Aide until his retirement. Arthur was a longtime communicant of St. Anthony’s Church in Schenectady. He enjoyed his floral gardens, bowling and baking. Above all he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family.

In addition to his parents, Arthur was predeceased by his siblings Nicholas (Lillian) Pandori, Peter (Rose) Pandori, Mario (Muriel) Pandori, Henry Pandori, Robert Pandori, Alfred (Alice) Pandori, Donald (Susan) Pandori, Isabelle (Orlando “Ray”) Lupe and Olga Royse.

He is survived by his sister-in-law Bridget Pandori, brother-in-law David Royse along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 9:30am at St. Anthony’s Church, 331 Seward Place, Schenectady, NY. Interment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Glenville.

The family would like to thank Rod Hubert for his attentive care shown to Arthur over the years. They would also like to express their appreciation to Schuyler Ridge for the tender care he received and to Sister Maria Rosa for her tasty treats and visits over the years.
