Dear Missy, Chris, Ryan, and Michael,
We share your pain at the loss of your beloved Father, (in-Law) and Grandfather. Bernie wore many hats throughout his life as a Dad, Husband, Friend, Co-worker and member of his community. In the coming days as you prepare for his funeral, may it warm your heart to hear stories of the lives he had touched in a positive way over his lifetime.
I saw the genuine love for family that he shared when he and Mary would visit Norwich and am happy to have had the chance to come to know him. May he rest in peace.
With Love and Deepest Sympathy,
Mike & Paula, Philip, Christopher, & Michael Trevisani

I miss you Dad. Not surprised you waited until after midnight to pass away on April Fool’s Day! You always had a joke at the ready… most made us roll our eyes but you loved to make people laugh! So many memories rolling around my head as I drove home last night. Camping trips with bear encounters, teaching me to fish - I hated holding a wiggly worm so you showed me how to stab it on a rock, teaching us how to ski and making PB&Js and chocolate milk for lunch in the ski lodge, You coached my softball team, were my catcher for as long as I wanted to practice pitching which made me a better pitcher, were a tough tennis opponent, set up a discus circle in the backyard to help me practice, always interrogated my dates, taught Sean and I how to properly handle firearms (and intimidated my dates with your gun collection), taught me to drive, passed along your sweat genes - ewww thanks for that, and always told me how proud you were of my accomplishments! I can’t imagine life without you now. But I’m so happy you’re at peace, so fortunate you were my parent, and so blessed to have your example to follow. I love you Dad!
