Obituary of Constance “Connie” Kerr

Dateline: Ballston Lake

Constance “Connie” L. Kerr, 69, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2022 at Ellis Hospital with her family at her side. Born in Natrona Heights, PA, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Betty (Hockenberry) Edwards. Connie was a 1970 graduate of Valley High School in New Kensington, PA. She married her beloved husband William W. Kerr on October 14, 1970. Together they shared almost 52 years of marriage. Connie was an active homemaker and navy wife. The family was stationed all over the world and Connie served as the rock to many other navy spouses. She provided support, encouragement and food to anyone that needed it. Connie enjoyed being able to see and live in different parts of the world, especially seeing the island of Malta, Italy, Crete Greece and Madrid Spain.  She had a keen eye for shopping and could always find the best deals. Connie also enjoyed going to the casino. Above all she loved her family and cherished the time she was able to spend with them. She will be fondly remembered for her independent, strong, feisty and loving demeanor.

Left to cherish Connie is her beloved husband, William “Bill” Kerr, daughters, Dusty Pedersen (Joseph), Michon Terrell (Vincent) and Carrie Friello. She was the cherished Mema to Joseph Pedersen, Mya Pedersen, Lillyanna Friello and Gabriel Friello. Her sisters Sherry Shemenski (the late Archie) and Mary Stapinski (the late Joseph) along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Ronald James Edwards.

Funeral services will be private for the family.
