Obituary of Daniel J. Haldeman

Daniel J. Haldeman, 47, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Rome, NY and  raised in Rochester, NY, Dan was a 1993 graduate of Aquinas Institute of Rochester. He went on to continue his education at the University of Buffalo, where he met his beloved wife Samantha (Frye) Haldeman while working at the Olive Garden. Dan and Samantha had a one of kind love and friendship that was very special. They were married on August 18, 2001. He worked as a Sales Representative in the beverage industry for the past 15 years. Dan enjoyed playing basketball with his daughter and watching her play, playing cornhole, and looked forward to enjoying a nice bourbon or beer with friends.  Above all, Dan cherished his family, especially his three children. He was so proud of each of them. His family was the core of his being and looked forward to movie and game nights with Samantha, Aidan, Tristan and Bella. Dan will be fondly remembered for his great sense of humor, intense sarcasm, and quick wit.

Dan is survived by his wife Samantha, his children Aidan, Tristan and Isabella Haldeman. He is also survived by his parents James and Margaret (O’Brien) Haldeman,  his sisters Nora Haldeman and Bridget Williams (Brent). His mother and father-in-law Susan and Andrew Frye, brother and sister-in-law Andy (Terese) Frye. His best buddy Percy along with numerous aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive him.

Calling hours for Dan will be held on July 10, 2022 from 12-3pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road. A funeral service will follow at 3pm at the funeral home.
