Obituary of Michael Dominick Visco

Michael Dominick Visco, 67, passed away peacefully at Saratoga Hospital on September 29, 2022 with his family at his side. Born in Niskayuna, he was the son of the late Dominick and Mary (Iovino) Visco. Michael was a 1972 graduate of Scotia Glenville High School. He worked many years for Buhrmaster Energy Group and retired from the Town of Glenville Highway Department as an Equipment Operator in 2017 after 17 years of employment. Michael married his beloved wife Catherine “Cathy” (Coppola) Visco on November 22, 1995. He was a member of the Guan Ho Ha Fish and Game Club and a former member of the Glenville Fish and Game Club. Michael was an avid outdoors man enjoying hunting and fishing. One could often find him hanging out in his garage, cleaning his lawn mower, snowblower, boat or 4-wheeler.   Above all, Michael was proud of his boys and he enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his family.  Michael’s legacy will continue through his family and friends. They are grateful for the many memories, crazy comments, daily phone calls, funny stories, "one liners" and humor that will be sure to make them laugh for many years.  His family and friends will always love him, miss him and he will be forever in their hearts.

Left to honor Michael is his wife Catherine “Cathy” Visco, his sons Dominick Visco and Andrew Visco (Alyssa Johnson). His siblings Robert Visco (Susan), Linda Vanyo (Stephen) and Anthony Visco (Barb). His aunts Anna Wilson (Frank) and Doreen Pelletier (George), brothers-in-law Andrew Coppola (Janice) and Tom Coppola (Tara). Also surviving is his canine buddy Chubby, lifelong best friends Foo, Ted and Bernie along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 4-7pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville.
