Obituary of Faron Carl Sawyer

Faron Carl Sawyer, 65, passed away suddenly at his home on October 21, 2022. He was the son of the late Gordon and June Sawyer. Faron will be remembered for his big heart and contagious laugh. Faron’s sense of humor was infectious to all those near him. He was a superb cook and loved playing music and listening to the Beatles. One could often find him reading down by the river or working on motorized bikes in his shop, KEF Custom Bicycles. He had a fondness for animals, watching the birds at his feeders and caring for his cats. Faron was a generous man and would give the shirt off his back and was an avid advocate for the homeless. He never thought twice about feeding or providing shelter to anyone in need. Above all, Faron cherished the time he was able to spend with his children and grandchildren.

Faron is survived by his children Faron Sawyer II, Eric Sawyer and Kayla Oechsner (Edward, III), His grandchildren Christian, Jonah, Paisleigh, Harper, Ivy June, Edward IV, Theodore and Caylie, siblings Bonita Washburn (George), Sharon Czechowicz (Lee), Linda White (John), Starr Leblanc (David), Susan Sousie (Kevin), Rocky Sawyer (Lillian), Tina Giroux (Jerry), Frank Sawyer (Dawn), Jesse Sawyer (Ginny) and Richard Sawyer (Holly). Many nieces, nephews and extended family members also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings Mary Cerulli (Vito), Gordon Sawyer (Kandie), Sheila Ehring (Andrew), Gerald Sawyer (Joann), Diane Kelly, Daniel Sawyer and Geraldine Durocher (Arthur).

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
