Obituary of Mark R. Vanyo

Mark R. Vanyo, 67, passed away suddenly at Ellis Hospital on October 24, 2022. Born in Niskayuna, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary (Kavalkevich) Vanyo Sr. Mark was a 1974 graduate of Galway High School. He worked at Wheel Horse, Royal Oak, Hall and Hall Builders and currently working with his best friend Bernard Kuczek at Twin Swan Tree Service in Burnt Hills. Mark enjoyed car shows, stock car racing, gardening, baking and snowmobiling. He was a member of the Mulleyville Snowmobile Club. Mark will be greatly missed by his brother and many friends especially his daily Stewarts buddies. He will fondly be remembered for his kind heart and hard work.

Mark is survived by his brother Stephen Vanyo Jr and his wife Linda along with many friends.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 3-5pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville. Burial will take place on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Please meet at the funeral home at 9:30am to join the procession.
