Obituary of Jeffrey A. Monaco

Jeffrey A. Monaco, 51, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.  Born on July 1, 1971 in Niskayuna, NY, he was the son of Kathleen (McCasland) Monaco and the late Arthur J. Monaco.

Jeff graduated from Burnt Hills- Ballston Lake  High School's class of '89.  Jeff was always interested in sports. He was an avid Phillies and Steelers fan (not the Eagles!). His knowledge gained him an enviable position of working at what he loved. He was self-employed through Clubhouse Sports Cards in Springfield, GA. He married the former Amy Uzupan on May 6, 1995 and enjoyed raising two sons.

Jeff was predeceased by his father, Arthur J. Monaco on November 9, 2019 and Brother-in-Law Tim Uzupan on March 3, 2020.

He is survived by his loving wife and companion, Amy Monaco, his cherished sons, Thomas and Stephen Monaco, and his mother, Kathleen A. Monaco. Jeff also leaves behind his sisters Michelle Bouck and Denise (Patrick) Lurenz;  Brother-in-Law Mark (Sindy) Uzupan, sister-in-Law Nicole Uzupan and many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, Dec. 8  from 9-11 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Rd. Glenville.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM. A funeral procession to St. John's Cemetery, Sand Creek Rd. in Colonie shall follow with the Rite of Committal at graveside.
