Obituary of Eileen C. Andriano
Eileen Andriano formerly of Jockey Street in Ballston Lake, passed away peacefully at the Pines in Glens Falls just shy of her 93rd birthday on January 8, 2023.
Born on February 21st, 1930 in Schenectady, she was raised in a large family which included 2 brothers and 3 sisters all of whom predeceased her.
As a young woman she worked as a comptometer operator for General Electric before meeting her true love, Pasquale Andriano. Miss Eileen was a quiet, reserved lady as well as being quite the stylish dresser in her day.
Eileen was an avid flower gardener well into her 80’s, surrounding her home with well tended beds.
She is survived by her loving son Mark and daughter in law Melissa (LaBelle) as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A calling period will be held at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. on Thursday, January 12th from 11 AM to 12 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12 PM, internment will immediately follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Glenville, where she'll be laid to rest next to her beloved husband.
