Obituary of Roger L. Green

Roger Green, 70, of Scotia passed away peacefully on May 8, 2023, at his home in the arms of his loving wife Darlene after battling an incurable lung disease. Born in Brooklyn Pennsylvania on January 27, 1953, he was the son of the late Raymond and Melva Williman. Roger was a graduate of Berne-Knox High School and went on to proudly defend his country in the Air Force from 1973 to 1976. In the Air Force, he was an Electrical Power Production Specialist and he was a mechanic fixing problems on planes to make them safe. After receiving an honorable discharge he continued to be a mechanic. Roger was an avid Elvis fan and loved his family.

He was predeceased by his brother Charles Williman and Timothy Williman. 

In addition to his wife Darlene J. Green, he is survived by his son Michael Green, sister Susan Farrell (Rob), brothers Howard Williman (Marie) and Junior Williman and many nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours for Roger will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 6-8 pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road Glenville. A private burial will be held at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Glenville.
