Obituary of Kenneth DeLano

Kenneth D. DeLano, 77, of Charlton, NY, passed away November 1, 2012 at Ellis Medicine. Born on September 25, 1935 in Auburn, NY he was the son of the late Kenneth D. DeLano Sr. and Josephine Siracusa DeLano. Ken married and moved to Charlton in 1968. He was employed 30 years at the G.E. Co. in Schenectady,retiring at age 52. Subsequently, his passion for the outdoors led him to own and operate the Charlton Gun Shop for 25 years. Mr. DeLano was a life member of the Kayderosseras Rod and Gun Club. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Janice M. (Young) DeLano; four children: Pamela DeLano, Jeffrey DeLano, Allen DeLano and Lisa DeLano Zambito; his brother Richard DeLano, his sister, Kathleen Hildebrandt;grandchildren, Megan Antrim, Christopher Antrim, Brett DeLano, Aaron DeLano, Lydia DeLano, Elena Zambito, Zachary Zambito, Luke DeLano, Matthew DeLano and his cherished great grandchildren Michelle Gagliardi, William Antrim and Alyssa Antrim. Relatives and friends are invited to call on the family at the Glenville Funeral Home Monday November 5, 2012 from 1 PM to 3 PM. There will be a celebration of Life service at 3 PM with Reverend David Moore officiating.
