Obituary of Loretta Benosky

Loretta M. Benosky, 75, of Glenville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 9, 2012 at her home. Loretta was born on February 20, 1937 in Amsterdam, NY, the daughter of the late Albert and Genevieve Kryzak Dybas. She graduated the Wilbur H. Lynch High School. She grew up in Amsterdam and married her sweetheart, William J. Benosky on April 7, 1956. The Benosky's moved to Scotia in 1962 where they raised a family. Mrs. Benosky was employed by several agencies including CDTA and Niskayuna Police Department. She once worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Frank Strauss, DDS. Her life was centered around her family, especially her grandchildren whom she adored. Her beloved husband William Benosky died on March 3, 2012. She is survived by her sons, Gerard (Michele) Benosky of Gansevoort, NY and William (Teresa) Benosky of Glenville; four grandchildren, Evan and Ryan Benosky and Diana and Eli Benosky. There will be no funeral by Loretta's request. Entombment will take place at the Gerald B.H. Cemetery beside her beloved Bill. Love you Mom Love you Grandma Rest In Peace
