Obituary of Donald Schoenberger

Donald Schoenberger, 87, of Glenville passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2014 at the Capital Living Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre in Schenectady. Mr. Schoenberger was born in Weissport, PA and was a graduate of Lehighton High School and Spring Garden Institute, Philadelphia PA. He also attended Union College in Schenectady. Donald was an Engineering Assistant at General Electric Co. in Schenectady for 18 years and was Purchasing Manager at the Environment/One Corp. for 25 years before retiring in 1994. He was a member of the San Souci Boy Scouts Organization and attended the East Glenville Community Church. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Patricia Pattison Schoenberger, a daughter, Carol S. Potochney of Celebration, Fl, a son, Douglas W. Schoenberger of Hopewell, NJ and three granddaughters. Funeral Services will be held at the Glenville Funeral Home on Friday February 14, 2014 at 11:00am. There will be a calling hour immediately preceding the service.
