David M. De Joseph, 60, of Red Oak Dr. died February 12, 2014 at St. Peter's hospital with his family at his side. Born in Masbeth, L.I. on Dec. 6, 1953, he was the son of the late Anthony and Irene Micklesavage De Joseph. A graduate of Guilderland High School's class of '72, he attended H.V.C.C. then began a career in finance. In account collections for many years, Dave's last position was sales manager for Industrial accounts for Navistar Corp. He was married on September 11, 1982 to the former Patricia Ferrel. Dave enjoyed his family first and foremost and took great excitement watching his two girls compete in sports from the age of 5 through college. David loved dogs, especially his dog Lilly. David was an avid fan of the NY football Giants and in baseball, the Yankees and Phillies. He enjoyed the beauty and history of the Saratoga Flat Track. Classic oldies of the '50's and '60's once heard he remembered the names of any song. Dave was also an amazing trivia buff His family would like to thank the staff at St. Peter's for their loving care and compassion to Dave for the short while he was there. He was predeceased by his baby sister Amy De Joseph. Survivors include his wife, Patricia De Joseph daughters, Erika and Katie De Joseph, and loving mother in law Genny Ferrel, all of Scotia. He leaves his brother Anthony (Diana) De Joseph of Boerne, TX and sister Teresa (Tom Gilbert) De Joseph of Boulder, CO; niece Victoria DeJoseph, nephew Zachary (Carolyn) De Joseph and their daughter Gianna and lifelong cherished friends Ron, Linda, Corie (Mariela) and Mike Gaidusek.
