Obituary of Michael Reynolds

Michael "Mike" John Reynolds, 55, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on May 7, 2014. Born in Schenectady, New York on December 2,1958 he was the son of Herman "Jack" Reynolds and the late Joan (Delameter) Reynolds. After high school Mike attended Schenectady County Community College and went on to be an electrical engineer at General Electric in Schenectady. As an avid outdoorsman and craftsman, Mike often went golfing, fishing, hiking and camping, tended to his gardens and worked on carpentry. When he wasn't outdoors you could find him relaxing with a cold beer, either watching a Yankees or Giants game; or piercing his neighbors ears with classic southern rock or country music. Mike was a seasoned traveler who immersed himself in culture while visiting places like the Caribbean, Singapore and Indonesia, to name a few. Mike is survived by his Father Herman "Jack" Reynolds; His children Carly (Andrew) Feldman , Andrea and Sean Reynolds and their mother Linda Mattedi. He is also survived by his brother Daniel; his nephews Jarrett and Dylan Reynolds and his beloved feline friend Gus. A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 7 PM in the Glenville Funeral Home Chapel at 9 Glenridge Rd. with Jack E. Arnold officiating.
