Obituary of Lorraine DePuy

Dateline: Burnt Hills Lorraine M. (Sabovik) DePuy, 53, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday June 8, 2014 after her battle with cancer. Born in Bridgeport Connecticut on August 10, 1960, she was the daughter of Lorraine and the late Walter Sabovik. Lorraine married her beloved husband Richard DePuy on August 7, 1982. She took great pride in being a homemaker; making home a warm and welcoming environment for her family whom she loved dearly, especially her three children and her grandchild. Lorraine also loved socializing with her many friends, as well as frequenting the ballet at SPAC and Proctors Theater. Survivors include her mother Lorraine (McSweeney) Sabovik; her husband Richard DePuy; children Jeannette (Shane) Roberts, Timothy (Mary) DePuy and Carolyn DePuy; her Granddaughter Lillian Grace Roberts and her six brothers. Many extended family members also survive. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday June 13, 2014 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Road, Glenville. Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend. Inurnment will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville. In lieu of flowers the DePuy family asks that one donates blood to the American Red Cross or donates monetarily to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (tinyurl.com/nkulw9b).
