Obituary of Mary Sullivan

Dateline:Milton Mary Mandekic Sullivan, 64, passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 25, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Prisna , Croatia She was the daughter of the late Mate and Jela Mandekic. She was married to her husband William for 44 years, spending their first 28 years in the Burnt Hills Ballston Lake area raising their family. Mary and William moved to Saranac Lake NY in 1998. She enjoyed spending the winters in Melbourne , Florida and also loved to travel. Mary also loved the outdoors and you could often find her walking and hiking daily. She took great pride in also helping her husband build and manage Pine View Village Apartments in Saranac Lake . Mary's true pride and joy however was her family. She is survived by her beloved husband William Sullivan; sons Michael (Amy) Sullivan and Daniel (Pam) Sullivan; grandchildren Julia, Jonathan, Sarah, Lauren, Lianna and Carley Sullivan; her sister Anka Starcevic and her loving sister-in-law Patricia (Frank) Walters. Mary is also survived by her cousin Marianne Carter and several nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 28, 2014 at Our Lady of Grace Church 73 Midline Rd, Ballston Lake at 9:00am. Interment will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville. Relatives and friends may call on Friday, June 27 from 6-8pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd., Glenville.
