Obituary of Leonard Vandenberg

Leonard B. Vandenberg, 99, passed away July 27, 2014 at his home in Scotia, NY. He leaves his beloved wife of 52 years, Margarethe (Selcer) Vandenberg. Survivors also include his nephews Thomas (Joyce Chen) and John (Jane Bicquette) Vandenberg; his niece, Ann Vandenberg and several close friends. Graveside services will be conducted July 31, 2 PM at Mahwah Cemetery, with close friend and neighbor Jack E. Arnold Officiating. A memorial service for Mr. Vandenberg will be held at a later date at First Reformed Church, 8 N. Church Street in Schenectady. Arrangements are under the direction of the Glenville Funeral Home of Scotia-Glenville, NY.
