To Anthony's Family: I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Anthony briefly in CT last year. He was such a kind person. He always had a smile on his face, and a calm demeanor, even during difficult meetings. He spoke so fondly of his family, his fishing trips, and the work he was doing on his house. He loved to give progress updates on his home, and how his mom and sister were helping pick colors and details, while he enjoyed the construction. Nadine, I am so sorry for you loss. I remember moving onto Skyway Drive when Anthony was a kid and he turned out to be such a fine man. To Anthony's loved ones: I was greatly saddened to read of Anthony's passing this morning. I was Anthony's 10th grade Social Studies teacher at SGHS, and what a memorable student he was! It was a first period class and while other students were rubbing their eyes, Anthony was always "ready to go." With his confidence, easy manner, and strong participation, he was a true classroom leader. We immediately hit it off because of our love of track and field. I enjoyed following his hurdling career as it unfolded through Scotia-Glenville school records, state championship meets and Division I competition at U Albany. As good an athlete and student as he was, Anthony was an even better person...supportive and compassionate. I was glad that I was able to "catch up" with him a bit at Immaculate Conception several years ago. The world will have less light with Anthony leaving us. I will remember him in my prayers. Anthony was one of the most genuinely kindhearted people I have ever met. I was very lucky to have known him and to have him in my life. Our snowmobile adventure at Sacandaga Lake and growing up playing basketball at Skyway Dr. are memories that I will never forget. Living in Seattle I didn't get to spend time with him after graduation, but seeing him at Chris & Meghan's wedding, and at the class reunions always brought a smile to my face. He will always hold a special place in my heart.

To Anthony's beloved family, it was an honor to have known Anthony. I was lucky enough to work with him side by side during his assignment to the project in CT.
