Obituary of Jessica Young

Jessica L. Young (Borick), 32, of Ballston Lake, passed away peacefully at Mercy Medical Center, Springfield, MA with her loving family at her side. Jessica was born in Quincy, MA on August 17, 1982, the loving daughter of Steven and Deborah Borick. Jessica was united in marriage to Joseph P. Young Jr. on June 6, 2008 in Schenectady. The couple resided in the Clifton Park/Ballston Lake area for the past nine years. Jessica worked as a Customer Service Assistant for CSC Inc. in East Greenbush up until the time of her illness. Jessica was an artist and enjoyed drawing. She was especially gifted and mastered digital art on the computer. Jessica was a lover of all animals, especially cats and enjoyed working in her flower garden as well. Jessica was predeceased by her brother, Benjamin Borick in 2012. Survivors include her beloved husband, Joseph P. Young Jr. of Ballston Lake; her parents, Deborah and Steven Borick; her mother- in-law, Linanne (Perreault) Young and father- in-law Joseph P. Young Sr.; sisters in law, Jennifer Spath (Robert) and Rachel Weaver (Jeremy) and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will take place Wednesday October 15th at 7:00 pm in the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd., Glenville. Relatives and friends may call prior on Wednesday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
