Obituary of Ramona Brady

Ramona Rose Brady, 92, of Kings Rd., passed away peacefully October 28, 2014 at Kingsway Arms Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, following a brief illness. Born on January 31, 1922 in Fitchberg, MA, she was the daughter of the late Rowland and Rose Coughlin Congram. Ramona graduated from Northampton High School. She worked for the Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton as a tumor registrar. She was formerly married to Bruce L. Baird and the late Joseph Morgan Brady. Ramona was predeceased by her brother Roland Congram. Survivors include three sons, Colin A. Baird (Wendy) of Charlton, NY, Mark F. Baird of Ballston Spa and Kevin P. Brady of Rochester, NY; her sister Ruth McEwan of Williamsburg, MA; cherished grandchildren: Whitney Brady, Colin P., and Jeffrey Baird and Kristy-Ann Eldridge; Devlin P., and Cory T. Baird. Her great grandchildren. Callie, Thatcher, Mae and Beckett Eldridge; Maxwell, Markus and Stella Baird. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 1st at 10 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Rd. with Rev. Jerome Gingras officiating. Inurnment to be at the Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Ramona's name to the Church in her memory.
