Obituary of Alice Brophy

Alice J. Brophy GlenvilleAlice J. Brophy (nee: Garling), 95, passed away just as the new year began, January 1, 2015, at Glendale Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Martin J. Brophy (1994). Loving mother of Martin W. Brophy and his wife, Maureen of Tully, NY and Esther V. Sharp and her husband, Ben of Saratoga Springs. Alice is survived also by four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated tomorrow, January 3rd at 11:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Church, Lafayette St., Schenectady. There will be no calling hours. Interment, Sweetman Cemetery, Charlton. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Glenville Funeral Home of Scotia-Glenville, NY.
