What a passion for life Dennis had, Debbie! He loved so many people and activities in his life, but most of all, he loved you with all his heart. I sat next to him at the dinner at Lombardo's and listened closely to him as he talked about you. Ill as he was, he sat up a little straighter and his eyes just seem to sparkle when he mentioned you. You couldn't have been a more supportive wife, undoubtedly adding precious time for him on this earth. His enthusiasms were many and varied. Family came first, but hunting, fishing, time spent on his beloved boat, travels to Maine, gambling - he approached them all with enormous enthusiasm. Even steak! He loved it! Not many people who know they are dying have the buoyancy and vim and vigor to savor steak, even one made at Lombardo's. I truly enjoyed knowing him a little in person and mostly through you. His generosity knew no bounds. He gave so much to the little girl in Florida he loved so dearly - as if his bank account had been inexhaustible. Zest for life is a remarkable quality few possess. Your Dennis had it in very atom of his body and soul.

Deb and family; I offer my sincerest condolences. In the short amount of time I got to know Dennis, I could tell he was a great man. I really enjoyed stopping into the shop to talk to Dennis, he became a friend and someone I admired for the way he handled himself. He will be missed.
