She then lived in Orleans, France from 1959 through 1961 where she worked as a Spanish language teacher. She then returned to Buenos Aires and was a French language teacher at both Colegio de San Jose and Lenguas Vivas, where she had been a student herself. She worked there until she met the love of her life, the late Roberto Jose Forlano. They married on December 18,1968 in Buenos Aires. She was an accomplished linguist and was able to speak four languages fluently. Her passion in life was spending time with children, be it her own children and grandchildren or her students. This instinct was intact with her until the end. She enjoyed gardening, reading and above all else spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother in Argentina, Bartolome Repetto. She is survived by her sons, Bartholomew Forlano and his wife Karyn and William Forlano and his wife Tammy.
