Obituary of Earl Corino

Earl J. Corino, 85 , passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on June 21,2015 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady on October 9th, 1929, he was the son the late Anna Cuco and Aurelio Corino. Earl was a 1947 graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School. After graduation, he joined the United States Marines. On April 17th, 1968 Earl married his beloved wife Arleen Corino. Earl owned Corino's Market on Vley Road in Scotia and was always very active in his community. He was a member and past president of the Scotia Lions Club, a past president of the Scotia-Glenville Chamber of Commerce and a previous member of both the Pinehaven Country Club and the Board of Directors. Earl also participated for five years in the 50+ Club Reunions for Scotia Graduates. Additionally, he was the proud recipient of the Jr. Chamber Service Award in Scotia and the "Young Man of the Year" award from the Schenectady Jr. Chamber of Commerce. Earl will always be remembered for not only his participation in the community, but for his loving devotion to his wife and children. He is survived by his wife Arleen Corino, his sons Michael R. (Patricia) and Steven E. Corino, Grandchildren Caroline Rose and Dominic Michael Cornino. Also surviving is his sister Shirley (Richard) Ratajak as well as many niece's nephews and cousins. Calling hours for Earl will be held on Wednesday June 24, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. Glenville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Saratoga Rd. Glenville. Entombent will take place in Memory's Garden, Watervliet Shaker Road, Albany.
