Dear Judi and the whole Downey family: My deepest sympathies for your loss. There is a hole in the fabric of life which will not soon be repaired. I was privileged to know Steve for nearly 20 years and work with him at Morris Ford for the last several. His dedication to the highest standards of integrity in the workplace and devotion to family were exemplary. I always sought him out when I could knowing he would have a cheerful outlook or give sage advice. In addition, his love of history and enthusiasm to share it was a delight.
