It is with great sadness to hear of Diane's passing. I worked with Diane (and Barbara) 35yrs ago at the SJCC. She was a kind & generous person. A mentor to me. To my surprise I ran into her at the state campus one day before she retired from DOT. She hadn't changed, still the same beautiful person I remembered. My thoughts & prayers to her & her family, she touched many lives.

I was sad to read of Dianes passing. We worked together for years at St Clares and Ellis. I enjoyed her dry sese of humor, observations on life and amazing laugh. She was a strong, hard-working and kind lady who I will miss. Rest in peace my friend.

I want to wish the Gamache/Simone families my sincere condolences in the passing of Diane. Diane and I were good friends growing up in both the Schonowee Grade School and McKinley Jr. High School. It was after our graduation from McKinley we were given the choice of our Sr. High School days. Diane chose Schalmont and I chose Mt. Pleasant. We lost touch at that time and I deeply regret this. I knew the entire family and my Mom was friends with the entire Simone families in their youth. Oddly enough, I learned from her notice in the paper that we both had the same hero all this time, Mickey Mouse. My dear Diane, RIP. Sincerely, Rita Gorman
