Obituary of Marion Czaban

Marion W. Czaban, 88, originally of Glenville, died Friday December 28, 2012, at the Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation - Timberlyn Heights, Great Barrington, MA. Marion was born in Schenectady, NY, the daughter of the late Roland Sanford Wagoner and Neta May Pickett Wagoner. She attended the Elmer Ave. Elementary School, the Washington Irving School and was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. Marion was employed by the Brody Kovac and Salisbury (Packard, Hudson Automobiles) and for 30 years for G.E. of Schenectady in their advertising and sales promotion department. On June 28, 1952, Marion married Alexander Frank Czaban. For many years, Marion enjoyed bowling in the City League. On May 2, 2009, Marion was predeceased by her husband of 57 years. Her nephew Robert Wagoner of Schenectady, her niece Shirley Slingerland of Schenectady, her grand niece Danielle Zuhlke, her grand nephew Brian Zuhlke, and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Czaban of Florida survive her. Marion's wishes were that no calling hours or services be held. Private graveside services will be held in the spring at Sweetman Cemetery.
