Obituary of Kent Hoffman

Kent W. Hoffman, 57, passed away on September 16, 2015 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady on March 24, 1958 he was the son of Jack W. Hoffman and the late Ruth I. Hoffman. Kent was a 1976 graduate of Burnt Hills Ballston Lake High School and went on to receive an associates degree in Criminal Justice from S.C.C.C.. He proudly worked as a security guard for many years at various local companies . Kent greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and helping take care of his father. Kent is survived by his father Jack W. Hoffman and his brother Kirk A. Hoffman. He is also survived several aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 6-8pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. Glenville. Funeral services will be held on Monday September 21, 2015 at 9am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Park Cemetery, Scotia.
