Obituary of Denise May

Denise Marie May, 55, of Scotia, after a brief battle with cancer, with family at her side entered into the arms of the Lord Saturday December 29, 2012 at Ellis Hospital. Denise was born in Ogdensburg, NY, the daughter of the late Arvey Kreglo and Emma Lou May. She was a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School. Denise dedicated her life to the ministry of the Lord and service to others. She was a beautiful soprano soloist and worked with children's choirs and bible ministry. Denise was a crusade soloist for Nora Lam Ministries. She earned her Doctorate of Theology through the International Miracle Institute out of Pensacola, FL. Denise was highly respected for her intercessory prayers. Survivors include: her twin brother Dennis (Mary Ellen Scipione) May, David (Katharine Krogh) May, Debbie May, Darren (Carol Scipione) May, Margaret E. Chambers "Aunt Peggy", many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as WeiPing Kan "Annie", Diane, Connie, Kreg, Carroll "Bubba", and Nori. Cherished friend Linda Jeroszko also survives. A brief prayer service will be held at 7 pm on Thursday January 3, 2013 at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd., East Glenville. Relatives and friends are invited to call on the family at the funeral home from 5 to 7 pm prior to the service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, are requested to be made to IMA International Miracle Institute, Pensacola, Fl, Harvest Church Children's Ministry, 303 Grooms Road Clifton Park, NY 12065, or Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union St, Schenectady, NY 12308.
