Obituary of Betty J. Vaccara

Glenville - Betty J. Vaccara, 83, Betty J. Vaccara, 83, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2016 at the Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Oneonta, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Helen Wasson. Betty was very active in the Thomas Corners Fire Department Auxiliary and was an honorary lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Vaccara. Betty is survived by her son, Michael L. Vaccara. Per Betty’s wishes, funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Schenectady. Her son, Michael, would like to thank Dr. Kerry Ricker, Dr. Peter Cospito, Dr. Page Salenger and Barbara Gerding, LPN, for all the care they have given to Betty.
