Obituary of Franklin Teller Clute Jr.

Franklin Teller Clute Jr., 61 of Glenville passed away unexpectedly at his home February 4, 2016. Frank was born in Middleburg, NY, son of the late Franklin Clute Sr. and Rita (Lucarelli) Clute. He grew up in the Bellevue section of Schenectady where he attended Mont Pleasant High School. Frank married the former Lynne M. Warner on September, 12 1987. He was employed by Greene Trucking in Amsterdam for the past ten years. He was a Harley "enthusiast" as he would call himself and was attached to his 2002 Fatboy ride! Frank enjoyed cooking outside, being with his family and friends at barbecue gatherings. He was an avid bird watcher, his favorite the Pileated Woodpecker. Survivors include his wife Lynne, daughters, Emily L. Clute of Glenville and Tanya Clute of Rotterdam; three grandchildren, Tylor, Liannah and Jacob. He leaves behind his brother, Joseph Clute (Celia) of Ballston Spa and his sisters, Debra Shimkus (Paul) and Lynn Mrozinski of Schenectady. Besides Lynne, he is also survived by his best friend James Groncki, as well as several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and his ma-in-law, Beulah Warner and sister-in-law, Lori Wilson (Eric). There will be a celebration of life service held on Wednesday at 7PM at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. with the Rev. Dr. John Califano officiating. Relatives and friends may call on the family prior to the service from 5 - 7 PM.
