Obituary of Malcom Cinquino

Malcom Cinquino, 72, passed away February 9, 2016 at his home in Florida with family by his side, following a courageous battle with Cancer. Born on May 3, 1943 in Schenectady, he was the son of the late E. Malcolm and Barbara (Komp) Cinquino. After attending Mont Pleasant High School, Mal joined the U.S. Navy in 1961 and served his country aboard the USS Keywadin. He worked as a welder for Swett & Swett Iron Works in Schenectady, Miscellaneous Iron Works Fabricators, then in 1973, Mal went into business with his brother-in-law, Rick, operating a full service Mobile Station. Mal also was a tracker trailer driver for the Golub Corporation for 24 years before retiring to Florida. Mal was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, BPOE, Eagles, VFW and American Legion. He enjoyed the outdoors, boating, hunting and riding his Harley motorcycle. An avid NASCAR fan, Mal enjoyed bowling, playing darts and golf with friends. He is remembered as "giving soul" and there to help whenever needed. Survivors include his soulmate and beloved wife, Helen (Price) of 51 years; his furry best friend, Maya; sons, Dean (Gina) Cinquino of Oscoda, MI and Damian (Shana) Cinquino of Lake Placid, FL; his sisters, Candace (Richard) LeClair of Scotia, NY and Crystal (Gil) Sliker of Sarasota, FL; eight grandchildren, Jennene, Joel, Carmen, Bradyn, Morgan, Chyanne, Landon, Camdon; and two great-grandchildren, Maddux, Ellia; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions can be made in Mal's name to a charity of one's choice. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Online condolences may be made at glenvillefuneralhome.com.
