I was very sorry to hear of Ken's passing. We served together in the Maintenance Squadron until I retired in 1988. We were on several trips to Greenland. I was especially glad to have Ken there on one trip. One of the Aircraft Mechanics started to act strange. I asked Ken to keep an eye on him. Soon Ken told me he was getting worse, and we should get medical help. In the meantime, Ken used his EMT experience to keep him alive. Ken accompanied him to the infirmary. It was discovered that repair chemicals had been absorbed thru his skin. All turned out well. I am sure that Ken will be missed by those that knew him.
