Obituary of Connor Alexander Yerman

Connor Alexander Yerman, 20, passed away suddenly on February 29,2016. Born in Niskayuna, he was the son of Sharlayna “Shari” Yerman and the late Karl Yerman. Connor was a lifelong area resident and educated in the Scotia-Glenville School District. He currently was attending Schenectady County Community College, working towards receiving a degree in Business Administration. Connor was known for his big smile, sense of humor, easy going personality and his passion for music. He enjoyed spending his time with friends, writing music, creating stories, drawing, animals and working out. Connor was predeceased by his father Karl Yerman, his grandmother Ellen Yerman and his aunt and godmother Teresa Yerman. He is survived by his mother Shari and her fiancé Thomas Tucker, Connor's beloved brother Stratton Yerman, paternal grandfather Alexander Yerman, and maternal grandparents Marlana Dingman and Donald Willsey, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including his long time best friend and music partner, Jake Strain. Calling hours for Connor will be held on Friday March 4, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd., Glenville, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00am on Saturday March 5, 2016 at St. Josephs Church, 231 Second Street Scotia, New York. Burial will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna, New York.
