Obituary of Orlando De Sorbo Jr.

Dateline: Schenectady New York Orlando DeSorbo Jr., 80, formerly of Hegeman Street, passed away peacefully at Capital Living Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on March 28, 2016. Born in Schenectady on June 22, 1935, he was the son of the late Orlando DeSorbo Sr. and Jennie DeSorbo. Orlando served honorably in the U.S. Airforce from 1954-1958 where he was stationed overseas for several years. He was employed by NYS Office of General Services during the Rockefeller Administration, and more recently was employed part-time at Capitaland Motors. He enjoyed playing crossword puzzles that tested his mind. Orlando’s hobbies were fishing and watching all sports, especially baseball.He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Linda and Gordon Russell of Fort Myers, Florida. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will take place at Saratoga National Cemetery.
