Obituary of Elaine Frances Armour

Elaine F. Armour, 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 2, 2016 at the Glendale Home, where she had been a resident for 10 years. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Martha McGrath. Elaine loved music, dancing and animals of all kinds. She also loved to help and care for people, at one point training to become a visiting nurse. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Glendale Home, for the wonderful care given to Elaine over the years. Elaine is survived by her sister Myrtle Major, her nephew Kendall Major, Jr., and her niece’s Lelani Case, Tammy M. D’Ascoli and Marie Parks. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister Laurena Hamlin. Funeral services will private at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Schenectady Memorial Park.
