Obituary of Richard Charles Jones

Richard Charles (Dullingham) Jones passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 10,2016. Born in Essex, United Kingdom on April 14,1955. He was the son of Edward and Eileen, and brother to Edward (Ted). He was a larger than life character. Apprenticed first as a heating and cooling engineer but realized his calling was as a Registered Nurse. He qualified in 1979 and worked in both the United Kingdom and latterly in USA from 1993 onwards. He touched many lives both professionally and personally—mentoring and giving second chances to people who he believed in, too many to measure. He leaves many bereft friends and also colleagues from his work at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Ellis Hospital, St. Peters Hospital and Saratoga Hospital. He also leaves behind his honored brothers from his Masonic involvements especially St. Georges Lodge #6. His very important American brother, Joseph Morton and wife Carson. Lastly his wife, Lindi, beloved Border Collies, and his proudest accomplishment his children, Hannah Alice Sutton, Amelia Abigail Jones and Owen Dullingham Jones. They were his life. Calling hours for Richard will be held Friday, July 15th, 4PM to 7PM at the Glenville Funeral Home, located at 9 Glenridge Road in Glenville, NY. A Masonic service by the St. George Lodge #6 will commence at 6:30PM. The family requests that everyone wears colorful attire to celebrate Richard’s colorful life.
