Obituary of Joyce S. Braswell

Joyce S. Braswell, 84, of East Glenville passed peacefully on July 14, 2016. Born in Schenectady, Joyce was the daughter of the late William and Gertrude Schell. Joyce worked for many years in the Schenectady City School System in the Computer Assisted Learning Center, helping students advance their abilities. She enjoyed gardening, theater and time with family and friends. Joyce is survived by her husband, Allen T. Braswell; sons Robert L. and Harvey A. Braswell (Tess); and two grandchildren: Jia-Lin and Trent Braswell; as well as several nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her sister Norma Burns. Funeral services on Monday July 18, 2016 will begin at 11am from the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd, Glenville, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home on Monday from 9:30 am to 11 am.
