Obituary of Emma J. Tinkham

Emma J. Tinkham, 83, of Clifton Park passed away peacefully August 26, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Syracuse, NY on November 29, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Hattie Melissa (Woomer) Pepper. She was predeceased by her husband Wesley E. Tinkham on March 9, 1992; her brother, William Pepper and sisters, Alice Price and Clara Mae Owens. Survivors include her son David E. Tinkham and his husband Timothy Orcutt of Scotia, NY, Robert W. Tinkham (wife Rebecca) of Berkley Heights, NJ, Daniel Tinkham (wife Juliet) of Oregon, Pamela Robson (husband Jack) of Clifton Park and Amy Nolte (husband Phillip) of Wilton, NY. Emma leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: John Robson, Bill Robson, Elizabeth Robson; Samantha and William Tinkham and Emily Tierney. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 31st at 11 AM at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 3159 NY 9N, Greenfield Center, NY Relatives and friends are cordially invited and may also call Tuesday, August 30th at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd. Glenville, NY from 6-8 pm. Interment will be held Wednesday, August 31st at 3 pm at Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay New York under the direction of the Glenville Funeral Home of Scotia-Glenville, NY.
