Obituary of Alfred John Peek

Alfred “Al” J. Peek, 74, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2016 surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home. Born and educated in Schenectady he was the son of Viola and the late Alfred Peek. Al retired after many years with Buhrmaster Energy Group in Scotia as a Service Technician. He married his beloved wife Donna on August 30, 1984. Al was an avid outdoors man enjoying hunting fishing and snowmobiling. He also enjoyed going to the casino, watching horse racing and listening to Elvis. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his family. In addition to his mother Viola and his wife Donna, Al is survived by his children Alfred J. Peek, Jr (Linda), Tina Paniccia ( Rudy), Charlene DeWitt, Cathi Lysiak (Thomas) , Nikki DeSantis ( Heath Wolfe) , Vikki Wade, David Gaar and Cheryl Campbell ( Robert). He is also survived by his brother Butch Peek(Darlene), sister Christine Hilicus (Herb) as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Al’s life will be held on Saturday October 1, 2016 at the Day Center Beach Association located in Day NY at 1:00pm.
