Obituary of Michael G. Roberts

Michael G. Roberts, 65, passed away peacefully at Ellis Hospital on Friday, October 14, 2016. Michael was born in Mooers, NY, the son of the late Richard W. Roberts and Rita L. (Beebe) Roberts of Glenville. Michael was a graduate of Chazy Central Rural School in Chazy, NY. He was a machinist all his life with Harris Graphics in Champlain, NY and Feuz Manufacturing in Schenectady. Michael liked to work on everything that presented itself. He was very much a perfectionist. In addition to his father, Richard; Michael was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Jerry Alger. Survivors include his beloved wife of 33 years, Patti; sons, Brian (Debbie) Roberts; Brandon (Jacklyn) Roberts; daughter, Courtney (Kevin) Tidd; grandchildren, Jocelyn and Jasmine Roberts, Carson Roberts, Celina Tidd; as well as his sister, Carol Alger. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 22 from the East Glenville Community Church, 335 Saratoga Rd., Glenville, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation with the family at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd., Glenville on Friday, October 21 from 4 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, it has been requested the memorial contributions in Michael’s name be made to the American Heart Association, 4 Atrium Dr. #100, Albany, NY 12205.
