Obituary of Savanna Lynn Ruggiero
Savanna Lynn Ruggiero, 29, passed away suddenly on November 7, 2016. Born in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of Robert Kennedy Sr. and Marnie Jo Ruggiero. Savanna attended the Scotia Glenville School District and was a 2005 graduate from Ticonderoga High School. She went on to obtain her certification to be a licensed practical nurse from Ellis School of Nursing. Savanna was currently employed by Hudson Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Albany. She had a big heart and loved caring for people and children. You could often find Savanna getting her nails done or tanning. She always liked to make sure she looked beautiful. She often referred to herself as a “Italian Princess”. Most of all Savanna will be remembered for the love she had for her family, especially her two sons.
In addition to her parents, Savanna is survived by her sons Davier Jesus and Jacobi Gregory Amill. Her best friend and father of her children Jesus Amill, Grandfather Richard Ruggiero, her siblings Nicole (Joseph Tracey) Ruggiero, Connor Rafferty, Robert Kennedy Jr., MacKenzie, Mackaela, and Patrick Kennedy also survive. Additionally, she is survived by maternal aunts Lana (David) Battaglia, Jodi (Jeff) Lysiak, Kim (Robert) Waldbilling, Lashawn Ruggiero and Cathy Lautenbach, her maternal uncle Jeffery Ruggiero, her paternal aunts and uncles Todd Kennedy, Susan and Kelly Kennedy, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins including Ashley (Brandon) Barrow and Nicholas (Sarah Burghammer) Lysiak and many friends. She was predeceased by her grandmother Angie Ruggiero, and uncles Jason Ruggiero and Steve Lautenbach.
Calling hours will be held on Monday November 14, 2016 at the Glenville Funeral Home 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville from 4pm to 7pm. A service will follow at 7pm.
